In the short time that it has existed, the company B & G from Tel Aviv has attracted considerable attention for its completely new designed instruments. Their instruments inspire with their high build quality, completely new developed components and an exciting, completely new design. Optically and in handling they convey the feeling of an old, wonderfully recorded guitar. Noble woods, classic design, brass hardware and electronics from their own company, really exciting…
It is not without good reason that the B & G guitars have won various prizes and, yes, quality also has its price. The ‘Crossroads’ manufactured in Asia offers a lot of ‘Little Sister’ at an attractive price point with first-class workmanship and playability. One difference between the Crossroads and the Israeli ‘Private Build’ version is the massive brass bridge, which makes the little sister sound even more mature. This was retrofitted by the previous owner and adjusted by us.
At the request of the previous owner, we dressed the frets of the instrument on our Plek Station and once again achieved a noticeable improvement in the tone development. The Little Sister, with its 20 frets, is very compact and handy, light in weight and airy in tone thanks to two P90 single coils. A really interesting little sister, whom we want to place in good hands.
The condition of this B&G, acquired by the only previous owner at the beginning of the year, is absolutely new. There are no signs of wear. Only the gilding of the pickup caps has tarnished slightly. This new ‘Little Sister’ is delivered in a practical soft bag. The original bridge as well as the original strap pins are included as well as the “Security Locks”.
