Der amerikanische Edelgitarrenherteller Bill Nash orientiert sich wie viele kleinere Anbieter an den legendären Vorbildern des Pioniers Leo Fender und hat dabei den nicht gerade bescheiden Anspruch kultiviert, moderne Vintage-Gitarren zu bauen. Was denn nun, “modern” oder “Vintage”? oder geht am Ende doch beides gleichzeitig?

Bill Nash gilt unabhängig davon als Meister des ‘Light-Aging’, was neben außerordentlich geschmackvollen Design eben auch die Auswahl “alt” klingender Hölzer einschließt, das sehen wir auch hier verwirklicht.

Die Telly im Stile der 60er Jahre aus 2013 von Nash glänzt mit einer interessanten Optik, einer mit unserer Plekoptimierung tadellosen Spielbarkeit und hochklassigen Tele-Sounds mit Spitzentonabnehmern von Lollar. Insbesondere der Humbucker im ‘TV Jones’-Look ist eine Wucht. Wenn es kein großes “F” auf der Kopfplatte sein muss, ist die Nash eine dicke Empfehlung.

Wir konnten die Spielbarkeit und Tonentfaltung der Gitarre spürbar verbessern, die Bünde sind nun perfekt abgerichtet und frei von Spielspuren.

Die Nash zeigte im Scan kleine Ansatzpunkte für Korrekturen an unterschiedlichen Stellen des Griffbretts. Nach der Justage des Trussrods haben wir die Bünde deswegen abgerichtet und die Einstellung der Brücke vorgenommen, um ein erstklassiges Setup zu erreichen.

Die Saitenlage liegt gemessen im 12. Bund nun bei:

  • E: 1,9mm
  • e: 1,4mm
  • Strings: 10-46

Die Bünde bilden über dem Griffbrett einen gemessenen Radius von 8.8″ bis 9.5″ ab, die Bespielbarkeit dieses coolen Instrumentes ist durch die durchgeführten Maßnahmen nun noch einmal verbessert.
