No longer in Warwick’s program, the FNA Jazzman is still one of the coolest Warwick basses. Ergonomics, versatility and a great look speak for themselves with this instrument.
The MEC pickups offer incredible versatility with active/passive electronics. The MEC humbucker, equipped with a 3-way coil tap and extra large pole pieces in ‘MusicMan’ style, is perfectly complemented by the small single coil. A push-pull potentiometer makes it easy to switch between passive and active tone control with 3-band EQ. The Warwick is also convincing when it comes to handling. The Jazzman is well-balanced on the strap and the unpainted Ovangkol neck is very pleasant to play in the high register.
Since the colour Burgundy Red in High Polish was not standard in the program, this Jazzman was ordered directly from Warwick in this colour, together with the gold hardware. Many examples therefore do not exist in this combination, but it looks great.
The condition is excellent, apart from the two typical lacquer cracks in the area of the neck pocket. No quirks, dents, scratches or the like cloudy the pretty appearance. The bell-brass frets also look like new after precise dressing with our Plek station, the playability is first-class with the fresh setup.
The delivery includes a high-quality and waterproof rockbag gig bag, the adjustable neck key, the Warwick security locks and the Hangtag.
