Im Jahr 2018 feiert die Firma ‘Deimel Guitarworks’ schon ihr 20jähriges Bestehen.

Während wir schon einige Gitarren aus der Schmiede von Frank hier im Shop vorstellen durften, können wir nun erstmalig mit einem ‘Custom Made’ Bass aufwarten, einem sensationell gelungenen Einzelstück auf Basis der ‘Firestar’ Gitarre. Innovativ und vielseitig ist dieser Custom Bass von Deimel allemal.

Dazu gehören eine gut justierbare Brücke, ein speziell designter Humbucker aus dem Hause Deimel, der mit einem Piezo-System kombiniert ist, ein leichter Compound-Radius sowie ein genialer Halsspann-Mechanismus, der sich über einen Innensechskant an der Halsunterseite betätigen lässt. An Bord befindet sich auch ein Fuzz, was ganz abgefahrene Sounds ohne Pedale ermöglicht. Dieses stammt von Bernd C. Meiser von BSM. Konkret ist die Schaltung die gleiche, die im BSM/Twangtone FuzzBender verbaut ist. Über drei Slider lassen sich Fuzz und Piezo zuschalten oder die Bässe beschneiden.

Damit ist dieser modern und edel gestaltete Bass für alle Musikrichtungen und Spielstilistiken einsetzen.

Die Verarbeitung ist excellent, nur ausgesuchte und hochwertige Hölzer und Komponenten sind für Frank Deimel gut genug. Der Hals liegt klasse in der Hand und verfügt über eine sehr ausgewogene Substanz. In das Rosewood-Fretboard sind 20 Bünde penibel eingelassen und der Korpus erscheint stimmig und toll ausbalanciert. Mit unserem frischen Plek-Setup ist die Spielbarkeit außergewöhnlich gut, wie das gesamte Instrument absolut überzeugt.

Der Zustand des aus 2017 stammenden Firestar-Basses ist hervorragend mit nur geringen Gebrauchsspuren.  Die Auslieferung erfolgt im originalen Case mit Herstellerzertifikat.
